Education


2007 M Opera graduate of the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the RSAMD.

PGDip Opera graduate of their foundation course prior to commencing Opera School.

An MA Hons English graduate from The University of Glasgow, working in London and Sydney as a Headhunter before returning to Glasgow and enrolling on the RSAMD opera course in 2005.

  1. As a child, was Head Chorister at Durham Cathedral, gained a full music scholarship to Durham School, and was one of the first singers from the North East of England to be accepted into the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.

•“Il Golfo Dei Poeti” - Palazzo Spinola, Genoa 2012. Songs by Strauss, Mendelssohn, Wolf, Quilter, Ireland, Britten, Respighi, Parry & Tosti, and featuring the World Premiere of Lori Laitman’s ‘Dark Spring’ song cycle.

Over 60 outreach concerts and workshops for the Edinburgh International Festival, 2012- present, with pianist Andrew Brown.
